Colotako was established in 2003 and has built practical experience in Japanese market food. The Chatswood operation is offering its vehicle and stall equipment as a package. The Chatswood stall has operated since around 2003.
The sale includes a 2008 Toyota HiAce, 3 commercial takoyaki grills (12 plates), a 3 m × 3 m tent, serving facilities and associated equipment. Enquiries about cooking know-how and practical training during trading are welcome.

Trading history and product range
Colotako was founded in 2003. The Chatswood stall has operated since around 2003, usually trading Thursday to Saturday, 10:00 am–9:00 pm. Its menu has included octopus, prawn, crab and vegetarian takoyaki.
This trading history describes the existing operation; the sale does not transfer or guarantee current customers, future earnings or market access.
Options for a new owner
The equipment may be useful for developing a market-food stall under a new brand, seeking approval to attend festivals or community events, or adding takoyaki to an existing food business. New locations and menus may require approvals, compliance checks or modifications.
Recipes and practical handover
The seller can discuss recipes, cooking techniques, preparation processes, stall setup and pack-down, and customer service procedures. A prospective buyer may also be able to learn by participating in actual stall operations, subject to agreement.
Financial information
Revenue information and available profit-and-loss and balance-sheet documents may be requested by serious prospective purchasers. Information will be shared individually where available and approved by the seller.
Sale conditions and enquiry
Vehicle registration expiry on paperwork: 13 November 2026. Vehicles and equipment are used and can be inspected. Existing Chatswood market trading rights are excluded; any use of the Colotako name is subject to separate agreement.
The owner is returning to Japan at the end of 2026 and welcomes enquiries from buyers able to proceed promptly.
