Full description, as written by the broker

An exceptional chance to acquire a long-established, community-anchored bakery and café in Harrington on the NSW Mid North Coast.

The business has traded for approximately 15 years and has been owned and operated by the current family for the past six years, building a strong reputation, loyal repeat trade, and consistent year-round demand.

This is the only bakery in Harrington, and it also serves three neighbouring smaller towns. Income is supported by both in-store retail sales and regular wholesale supply to local businesses.

The operation produces a full range of fresh breads, pies, pastries, cakes, slices and specialty celebration cakes, complemented by a popular café menu (breakfast/lunch), quality espresso coffee and cold beverages. The premises are configured across two adjoining shops, creating an efficient workflow with dedicated bakery/kitchen production and front-of-house service.

Occupying approximately 230m² over two connected tenancies within Harrington's main shopping centre (near IGA and other complementary retailers), the site benefits from strong daily foot traffic and convenient customer/staff parking. A new long secure lease of 5 years plus a 5-year option provides excellent tenure for incoming owners.

With the area's tourism, beaches and growing local population, this is an ideal sea-change business with further upside through marketing, online ordering/delivery, catering, extended trading hours and wholesale growth. There is also future potential to split the bakery and café into two standalone offerings.
