Full description, as written by the brokerBomaderry is a suburb of Nowra the major town of the City of Shoal Haven located on the north shore of the Shoalhaven River. In 2021 it had a population of around 8,800 people.
Bomaderry historically was opened in1882 and opened its Railway Station in 1883 which pushed the growth of the Town's foundation to a thriving suburban township atmosphere it retains today.
Around this early period several factories moved to the area such as a bacon and ham factory in 1900 and a milk condenser in1901 paving the way for in 1912 the Nowra Co-op Dairy Company to establish a milk Depot which in turn was a major boost to the local economy for many years.
Education is emphasised with public Primary school attendees of over 400 students and the high school standard holding places in the State debating, public speaking, sporting and dance eisteddfods. Nowra Anglican College is a K-12 school located in Bomaderry.
The newsagency has been owned and operated by the same owner for 22 years. It is well established, a great place to visit and perhaps purchase the winning Lotto prize.
