Our core business is based around the daily servicing of business parks, business centres and industrial estates. These areas are traditionally poorly serviced by cafes and food outlets, in particular those that are able to provide high quality espresso coffee. The Cafe2U business model has been specifically designed to be a successful Monday to Friday operation. Our franchisees typically start trading around 7am and are finished by early afternoon.
Another component of the of the business is event work. Event work generally takes place on weekends; however many franchisees service private and corporate functions in the afternoons during the week. By weekend events we mean netball, soccer, football, school activities, fetes, street fairs, and community and charity events. Basically anywhere where there is a large gathering of people in need of high quality espresso coffee is a business opportunity. Event work can be very lucrative indeed, however; given that the majority of event work takes place on the weekend, not all of our franchisees choose to service events. The decision to service event work in entirely up to you and what you want to achieve with your business.
On average our franchisees service between 20 - 30 loyal businesses within their territory each day, of which they aim for no less than 6 transactions per business. With an average sale of around $5.00 per transaction daily takings can grow quickly.
