Aging owner and inability to service all booking requests whilst juggling a corporate role. Return to corporate role was required during the COVID lockdown periods but now struggling to keep up with party bookings and dealing with corporate role travel commitments. After 8 successful years also looking to scale back and have some more 'me time'.

Prior to COVID 40+ beds booked out every weekend - was a great earner and I enjoyed being my own boss and working my own hours.

About the Business
We are Australia’s premium slumber party specialists, servicing the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne CBD, Melbourne North East, Melbourne West and Melbourne’s Bayside and the Mornington Peninsula suburbs.

The business survived COVID and is once again thriving but it has been necessary for me to turn away business. Our customer base is strong and loyal. Weekends with 40+ beds booked out simply isn’t doable for me anymore!

After start-up we quickly established a licensed business structure and currently have 2 licensees running their own successful businesses. There are endless opportunities to grow this business. Our licensed business model has the Melbourne business split up into ‘territories’ and I service the areas of Inner City, Melbourne North, Melbourne West and Melbourne East and part of the South East. Exact suburbs will be shared with any interested buyer and are published on our website.

Our brand is trademarked and is ripe for expansion. My business partner in Queensland is also considering selling her business so there may be an opportunity for someone to purchase the entire business, along with all intellectual property rights and branding and then grow the business with licensees paying monthly licence fees.

 am selling my Melbourne business and this includes all inventory. I have a substantial amount of inventory and am able to service multiple party bookings on any given weekend.

The buyer of the business will have three options for the purchase:

Option 1

• the buyer purchases all of the inventory from the Melbourne business and runs their own slumber party business, creating their own brand and website, etc ($25,000 purchase price).

Option 2

• the buyer purchases the Melbourne licence for an upfront fee ($15,000 - the upfront fee covers the purchase of all inventory) and then pays a monthly licence fee with a 2-year commitment to utilise the customer database and intellectual property and trusted brand; or

Option 3

• the buyer purchases the whole of the SleepoversRus brand including all intellectual property, trade mark, and website, and receives 100% of the current licensee fees. The condition to this purchase option is that the Queensland co-founder continues to run her parties for a further 12-month period. This option is priced at $50k and allows the purchaser to receive all our business knowledge during the handover.

I commenced the business in 2016 with a close friend who currently resides in Qld. We have established a very successful brand with an exceptional reputation with year-on-year return business from our loyal customer database. We run our businesses in Victoria and Queensland independently (under our own ABN) and have licensees in Victoria and Queensland. Our success is due to our high-quality bespoke themes, handmade by us. Our reputation is second to none, we are the industry leaders and the slumber party specialists.
