About the Opportunity

Appliance Tagging Services (ATS) is a specialist provider of electrical safety assessments and test-and-tag compliance in line with AS/NZS 3760. With over 20 years of industry experience, ATS has built a strong reputation for protecting Australian workplaces through expert electrical testing, reporting, and ongoing compliance management.

Franchisees operate from home, using a fully equipped, sign-written vehicle. Services are provided on-site to clients in the government, corporate, industrial, manufacturing, mining, and retail sectors across Australia.

Industry Information

Every Australian state and territory enforces WH&S legislation aimed at reducing work-related injury and illness. This includes a ‘duty of care’ requiring all parties in a workplace to take every reasonably practicable step to ensure health and safety.

The AS/NZS 3760 standard is the most widely recognised method of maintaining workplace electrical safety. It outlines testing and retesting protocols that offer a cost-effective and convenient approach to compliance. Some states have additional requirements specified in legislation.

Access to ATS’s existing client base enables franchisees to begin earning from day one. Training also includes modules on customer service and managing client expectations to ensure satisfaction and retention.
